Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council, IFC, is the student-run governing and program body for fraternities at Purdue University, that strives to maintain a balanced life based on four principles: scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship. The council is responsible for 41 fraternities and over 3000 members.

Multicultural Greek Council

The Multicultural Greek Council, MGC, was established at Purdue in 2003 to serve as a student-run governing body, create and maintain high standards in life of culutrally-based Fraternities and Sororities by addressing, managing, and creating strategic programming, to unify organizations involed in MGC. The council is responsible for 3 fraternities and 6 sororities.

National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, NPHC, is a student-run governing body for the historically African American Greek community. Previously known as the Black Greek Council, they affiliated themselves with the National Pan-Hellenic Council in 2000. From it's inception, the local affiliates have made great strides to carry out their motto of "Where there is unity, there is strength." The council is responsible for 8 International Greek letter sororities and fraternities.

PanHellenic Association

The PanHellenic Association, PHC, is a student-run governing body for the sororities at Purdue. The council is responsible for 21 sororities and over 2000 members.
