The Fraternity Man of the month is an award given to someone from a fraternity in the Interfraternity Council who has shown exceptional involvement and contribution in extracurricular activities both within and outside the Fraternity and Sorority community. Each month, a representative is chosen for the award based on their achievements during the month.

"Alan Bittner is not only the president of Alpha Gamma Rho, but he has also served on the Interfraternity Council as Director of Academics while still remaining active in his Building Construction Management major. All of the members of Alpha Gamma Rho Delta Chapter greatly respect and admire Alan as he deals with every issue he is faced with in a positive manner. He maintains great relations with all of his executive council members and always follows through with his goals and duties for his chapter. He is truly setting a fantastic example for the members of Alpha Gamma Rho as well as the entire Greek community.
Congratulations to Alan, he will receive a $50 scholarship!"

Every month nominations are accepted for the Fraternity Man/Sorority Woman of the Month. The form can be found on the IFC and Panhellenic website and should be emailed by the last day of each month to Billy Regan, the IFC Director of Publicity, at publicity@purdueifc.org, or to Emily Mishler, the Panhellenic Director of Public Relations, at pr@purduephc.com.
