The Beginning

The Multicultural Greek Council was established in spring of 2003 with the founding six organizations: Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated; Delta Phi Mu Sorority, Incorporated; Lambda Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Incorporated; Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity, Incorporated; Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority, Incorporated; and Tau Phi Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. MGC was created to help each organization be well acquainted and understand what each can bring to the Purdue campus and show support for one another in culturally-based events, shows, fundraisers, and etc. Also, with the diversity on campus, organizations are able to express their unity they have for one another.
